| The Students' Union and the University's Student Services Department have teamed up to launch a priority campaign aimed at raising awareness of sexual misconduct.
Evidence suggests that too many students end up having unwanted sex with someone often due to the effects of alcohol. The law has changed in recent years - and if consent is not positively given, then the intercourse that follows may well be rape. We are asking students to back the campaign, raise awarenes and change our students' attitudes and approach towards sex. Buy the wristband today from any Students' Union Office and show support for our campaign. LAW CHANGESStudents are sometimes guilty of drinking too much and then ending up in an intimate situation with another - often someone that they know. This can lead to sex - but sometimes this sex is not actually wanted by one of them. Having unwanted sex often results in serious consequences, as the victim is left degraded, damaged and hurt. This in turn can lead to serious mental health issues. Having sex with someone who has said NO or who has not positively consented may well lead to rape charges. |

We are looking for our students to get our campaign wristband to show that they are aware of this issue, and we are hopeful that the wristband may well serve as a reminder to them - even when they have had a lot to drink, and find themselves in an intimate situation with another. Get your wristband now and support No Means No!
Unwanted sex is damaging! Get the band, take care and be aware! If you don't get a "Yes" - it's a NO and "No Means NO!" - always.
