ACCREDITATION AND CERTIFICATION
As well as the other benefits of becoming a volunteer such as giving something back to the community, developing new skills, trying something different etc, you can also gain recognition for your commitment and dedication to volunteering.
MILLENNIUM VOLUNTEERS
Millennium Volunteers is a national certificate for all volunteers aged between 16 and 24 years old. To benefit, you will need to commit between 50 and 200 hours of voluntary work over 18 months.
To register you are required to complete a volunteer plan to help you establish how you will complete the hours and what you wish to achieve personally. The Volunteering Project Worker will be able to help you with this. If you need advice contact us at volunteering@glos.ac.uk.

The module is not lecture-based but there will be a pre-module training event, three keynote lectures and four individual tutorials. The additional support you receive is during individual tutorial sessions. All contact for the module is made between you and the tutor, Susan Bray or Nicki Costello via email.
