your students' union is becoming a greener, more ethical union
"Your Students Union' is committed to becoming a sustainabile organisation. We recognise that all of our activities, products and services have an impact on the environment and believe that managing and reducing these impacts should be an integral part of the policies that we follow" - SU Environment Policy 02/09
Over recent years, the Students' Union has rapidly become a greener, more ethical students' union, and whilst it is important to shout about our past successes, it is just as important to ensure that the growth we have seen over recent times is sustained. Our Environment Executive and his team of volunteersare always working hard to ensure that the Students' Union is continuing to improve and build upon our already very green credentials.
These pages are at the heart of what goes on within the Students' Union when it comes to issues of the environment and sustainability and are key to ensuring that we continue to improve. Because of this, these pages are updated on a regular basis to ensure that every student, staff and vistor of the SU can see what we are doing and how they can get involved to help us make a real difference to the world around us.
The links below contain lots of information, links and news about the work that the Students' Union is doing around matters of environment and sustainability. If you have any ideas, want to get involved, or would like any more information, please contact your Environment Executive Chris Bateman via email at christopherbateman@connect.glos.ac.uk.
