► Elected Officers

Elected Officers - The Students' Union is a student led organisation where our membership have the opportunity to influence the decisions our organisation makes. An important element of this input comes from our executive who are elected each year. Any student can stand in the elections and vote. This year the executive is made up of 3 full time paid sabbatical officers and 4 part time unpaid execs.

I absolutely loved my time as a Student at Gloucestershire and really want this to be experienced by everyone who studies here, whatever your campus and interests. I am a very approachable person who will be driven day in day out to meet the student needs. Hi, I’m Nick Burley the SU Sports officer here at the University of Gloucestershire. My role involves looking after the running of all our sports teams, organizing annual events such as Varsity against Worcester and our Sports Awards, and working to ensure that all students get the best possible sporting experience during their time here. I also work closely with the other Sabbaticals and SU staff to try and ensure that all our students have the best experience of University life they can get.

My personal sporting background here was as a Volleyballer, but I also enjoy playing many other sports recreationally. If you want to know anything about our sports provision here give me a call or an e-mail and I’ll be happy to help!

Hi there everyone! I’m Cassie and I am your Education and Welfare Officer.
I believe that life at university should be a great and enjoyable experience for everyone and my role is to try and ensure that your journey is as smooth as possible. If you need advice, SU representation or just someone to talk things through with, then I’m here for just that. No problem is too small so if all you need is a friendly face, I’m your girl!

I’ve always wanted to help others and speak my mind, so with this role being the combination of the two, by being elected, I’ve landed myself the perfect job! Don’t hesitate to pop in; you can find me in the SU offices above Park Bar most days as well as over at FCH and Pittville at various times during the week. I look forward to seeing you!
