Do you believe you have what it takes to lead the Students' Union next year? The Students' Union Elections 2012 give you the chance to represent the students of 2012/13. If you have loads of energy, a passion for student issues, a head full of ideas and a drive to be the best............. then find out more by reading the 'Guide for all Candidates' in the elections documents or getting in touch with the SU.

As one of the three full time Sabbatical Officers or ten part time Executive Officers, you will shape and guide the SU..... enhancing your skills and experience along the way.

Park Bar  10 – 11am;     Oxstalls Bar  12 – 1pm;      FCH Bar  1.30 – 2.30pm


Nominations Open:
9am Monday 6th February 2012

Nominations Close: Midday Friday 17th February 2012

Candidates’ Briefing:
All candidates MUST attend a briefing Monday 20th Feb 10.00am – 12.00pm at Park (TC203)

Campaigning Begins:
5pm Friday 24th February 2012

Sabbatical Officers’ Question Time (‘hustings’):
Monday 27th February 7pm, FCH Bar
Tuesday 28th February, 7pm, Oxstalls Bar
Wednesday 29th February 7pm, Park Bar
(hustings are compulsory for Sabbatical candidates; advisable for Executive candidates)

Voting

Voting will begin online at www.yourstudentsunion.com on Monday 27th February. Onsite ballot laptops will be located at Hardwick, FCH, Park and Oxstalls from 10am-4pm on Thursday 1st March. Students must present their UoG ID card to be able to vote.
