SPACE is the Students' Unions newspaper, produced by students for students. SPACE forms an essential part of student life enabling students to catch up with what's been happening on campus from the latest sports news and gig reviews to what changes have been made to their academic courses.
The paper also provides a forum for discussion and past features have included an investigation in to global warming and a look in to whether student bank accounts are as good as they seem to be.
The senior editorial team coupled with a great team of student writers has created an exciting paper that we believe is both informative and entertaining.
In recent years we have seen interviews with Top Gear's Richard Hammond and James May, THE Oliver Twist. proclaimed band like The Enemy and Reuben, as well as an exclusive interview with Conor McNicholas, editor of NME magazine. SPACE has also provided a wealth of music and film reviews, gaming news and exciting competitions.
The news pages have reported exciting developments within the University but have also actively made the student voice heard over important issues such as the planned move of Pittville Campus to the Blackfriars site in Gloucester, academic term reform and the fantastic rebrand of your Student's Union.
