Contributing to SPACE is an ideal chance to get valuable experience and see your name in print. SPACE is your student newspaper and what you want to see in it is totally up to you. SPACE is currently recruiting students to work in sub-editor positions. Last years team covered news, features, sports and music. We will be looking to fill these positions again this year and will welcome any suggestions with regards to introducing new sub-editor roles. We want articles on anything that is important to you, from problems with landlords, lectures and loans to fashion, fitness and food! We have some regular columnists but if you want to give it a go then send in some examples of your work. To arrange to shadow a game or photograph and events contact space@glos.ac.uk NEWS SUB EDITOR Bringing students the news which is relevant to them and what they want to hear. FEATURES SUB EDITOR From fashon to clubbing, the features editor will refresingly report on a range of topics. A good chance to highlight places for students to travel and inform them of a range of interesting topics. This position allows you to report on news and performances from all kinds of athletes and express views on all sorts of sporting topics. As well as covering reports from university teams we are looking to expand onto covering national sports. If you are interested in this position contact me on space@glos.ac.uk MUSIC SUB EDITOR Enjoy gigging? Have an album or two? This opportunity is the ideal way for you to inform students of news within the music industry. All aspects of music can be covered, from reviewing a local band down the pub to writing about superstars on MTV. If you've been to see a gig or going to an event you think will be of interest then get in touch and we will try to cover it.
