Jess's Story

LLB (Hons) Law, 3rd Year

Coming to the University of Gloucestershire and joining Women’s Rugby has undoubtably been the best life decision I’ve ever made. As cliche as it sounds, I’ve made friends for life and have become part of a community which I will always feel attached to. Since taking on the role as Vice Club Captain in my third year I’ve learned skills such as leadership, organisation, time management, commitment and perseverance which I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to develop otherwise. My self confidence has grown more than I could have ever imagined and I will be forever grateful to the Students’ Union for playing such a great role in that.
