We want enthusiastic individuals to help us improve the quality of the student experience, to represent the student voice at a variety of levels both within the SU and he University. The role contributes to the shaping of all aspects of the student experience, both academic and non-academic.

Volunteer Inclusive Sports Activator
We are looking to recruit up to 10 student volunteer inclusive sports activators. The SU is working in partnership with NUS and Sport England to run a pilot project to make sport and physical activity more inclusive to people who identify as LGBT+. The SU is committed to ensuring all students are supported to have a life-enhancing University experience, and we strongly believe sport and physical activity should be welcoming to everyone.
Our activators will work to introduce and encourage all abilities into sport and/or physical activity in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment.
Volunteers will be provided with training and ongoing development to enable them to deliver inclusive activity. Volunteers will receive support to achieve a level 1 coaching qualification, safeguarding and first aid training, and training in inclusivity.
In the role, you will enable people to be active and try things that they previously felt they couldn’t do. The role will enable you to gain a better understanding of the LGBT community and make a positive difference to students’ lives.

Trustee - Chair of Audit and Risk Committee
The University of Gloucestershire Students’ Union is seeking to appoint a new trustee to join our board. The new trustee would have a financial background and would chair the audit and risk sub-committee, as well as be an active member of our current board that meets 5 times per year. The new trustee will add expertise and skills to help achieve our aims of being a best practice board within the students’ union sector, and help to improve our Students’ Union’s effectiveness in supporting every student to have a life-enhancing student experience at Gloucestershire.
