Students' Union Subject Reps
We're looking for 2 individuals studying in the Subject Communities of Design or Photography to join our SU Student Voice Team. We want enthusiastic individuals to help us improve the quality of the student experience, to represent the student voice at a variety of levels both within the SU and he University. The role contributes to the shaping of all aspects of the student experience, both academic and non-academic.

SU Crew (Freshers' Volunteers)
Enjoyed your year at University? We're seeking returning students to volunteer to help the team in delivering our Freshers’ 2019 activities & events. The student volunteers who work with us during Freshers' are highly valued by the SU & the University.
New SU Crew must be free to attend a training session to be held the afternoon of Tuesday 10 September 2019.

Volunteer Inclusive Sports Activator
We are looking to recruit up to 10 student volunteer inclusive sports activators. The SU is working in partnership with NUS and Sport England to run a pilot project to make sport and physical activity more inclusive to people who identify as LGBT+. The SU is committed to ensuring all students are supported to have a life-enhancing University experience, and we strongly believe sport and physical activity should be welcoming to everyone.
Our activators will work to introduce and encourage all abilities into sport and/or physical activity in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment.
Volunteers will be provided with training and ongoing development to enable them to deliver inclusive activity. Volunteers will receive support to achieve a level 1 coaching qualification, safeguarding and first aid training, and training in inclusivity.
In the role, you will enable people to be active and try things that they previously felt they couldn’t do. The role will enable you to gain a better understanding of the LGBT community and make a positive difference to students’ lives.
This opportunity is open to all students to apply - LGBT+ and Straight Allies.
