Graphic Designer

Digital Marketing Assistant

The Students’ Union is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to help maintain the SU website and regularly post on the SU social media channels in order to increase awareness of our services, events and activities. The position will involve working with a content management system & will be responsible for the configuration & design of the website. If you have skills in web design & experience producing engaging content for social media this could be the perfect job for you. 

The role is ideally suited for a current student with flexible working hours but all applications will be considered.

Events and Venue Manager

We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As the Events and Venue Manager, you'll operationally manage the Students' Union's events program and venues. You'll be passionate about organising events, have experience running successful events and be ready to get stuck into a challenging but highly rewarding role. Students' Union Chief Executive 

We exist to lead, support and champion our students.  We provide students with opportunities and activities to have fun and make friends, to develop skills, we represent their views, provide advice and work to support them at every stage of their student journey. 

It is critical that we find someone who will be able to continue our positive relationship with our university partner as well as empower the continued growth and development of our team. We will also need you to provide strategic leadership in delivering an organisation which represents the interests of our members, achieves the objectives set out in our strategic plan and ensures the continuing financial sustainability of the organisation. 

This is a great opportunity to lead a vibrant and successful SU and support it to develop further.  The new Chief Executive will need to seize opportunities to grow our commercial operations and well as continue the development of our established sports, societies and student voice work. 

You will need to have experience of leading teams, developing and delivering strategy, managing budgets and building good relationships with key stakeholders.  You should be enthusiastic and value developing people to achieve their potential.

Enjoyed your year at University? We're seeking returning students to volunteer to help the team in delivering our Freshers’ 2019 activities & events. The student volunteers who work with us during Freshers' are highly valued by the SU & the University.
