We are seeking volunteers that have dyslexia to take part in a research project as part of a PhD study entitled, The impact of dyslexia on the online information-seeking behaviour of undergraduate students.
The research is exploring if there are any barriers to finding the information you need online and if there is any way to overcome these, so if you volunteer you will be helping other undergraduate students with dyslexia in the future.
We would be very grateful if you could spare the time to come to two information-seeking observation and interview sessions lasting about an hour each. These will be during the working day at times convenient to you so shouldn’t interfere with your study schedule.
Assignments require you to seek information and you will be using a module of your choice to guide your information-seeking, so if you do decide to take part, it should be a good use of your time!
You will also be asked to collect screen recordings on your personal laptop if you seek information relating to the module of your choice.
Finally, if you volunteer, you will be entered into a prize draw for one of five £10 Amazon Vouchers!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to take part, if you would like any more information or if you would like a meeting with the researcher, Lynne Cole, to have a chat about the project.
Many thanks in advance!
