Each year UoGSU holds elections where well over 1000 members take part and say who they want to lead their SU in the year ahead and this year was no different.
This last week has been really jam packed with candidates out campaigning trying to win your vote - thanks to all their hard work! Overall we had an amazing 1211 votes across all positions which is fantastic.
We’ve just finished announcing our successfully elected candidates for 2020-21 Full Time Officers and we wanted to let those of you who weren’t able to make it to The Living Room at Park tonight know who they were.
The successful candidates were:
Education Officer: Imaani Mitchell
President: Luc Brown
Sports Officer: George Berry
Welfare Officer: Asha Sutton
