The Sign Language Society is currently not taking any new members for 2019/20, we do apologise!
However, we are offering 6 sessions for BEd Students ONLY at the cost of £24. Sessions will cover the alphabet, numbers, basic communication, behaviour management and more. The price covers teaching time and space, as well as a certificate from the SU. Sessions will take place every Thursday starting from 7th November - 12th December in HC207 at FCH from 5:30-6:30pm. Memberships are limited to 25 spaces and are non-refundable.
Welcome to the Sign Language Society! We aim to provide a fantastic opportunity to learn basic British Sign Language (BSL) at an affordable price.
There will be numerous new beginner classes for students from any course along with an advanced class for members who have successfully completed the training last year and/or have previously completed Level One BSL.
(Please note that membership fees are non-refundable as we have to budget for the teaching time and space. Please also note that memberships are limited so will be available on a first come, first served basis.)
