We are a society holding bi-weekly classes for Yoga and Meditation, hosted by our fabulous teacher Chelsea Rixson of Wildflower Yoga. We understand the importance of creating a relaxing and friendly environment that everyone can benefit from, inside and outside of sessions, by working towards healthier bodies and minds.
Our main goal is to make yoga accessible to all students here at UoG. With all the pressures university brings, those studying are likely the ones to benefit the most.
Yoga and gentle stretching can help improve posture, core strength and general wellbeing if practised regularly (particularly helpful if you are stuck at a desk all day) and allows time to wind down and relax. It also helps to gently exercise injuries without being too intense.
