Starting a New Society
Haven't found a society that you wish to join? Why not set up your own.
Setting up a new society is simple as you need to do is:
Once you have submitted your application form it will be circulated between the relevant staff within the Opportunities Team for approval.
Once approved you will then meet with the Opportunities Manager or Welfare Officer to help you get your society started.
After Setting Up:
After the initial meeting you don't have to do anything just yet, the Opportunities Team will then set up your Finance Account, create your webpage and give all committee admin rights to the pages. Once this is all done they will let you know and from there you will be an SU affiliated Society and can start functioning as a Society.
