Manifesto Points

Hi there guys,

My name is Beth Langdon and I am your Full-Time Welfare Officer for the next academic year! I studied Education Studies at FCH and was the Social Secretary for Trampolining as well as Part-Time Education Officer.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years at UOG and want to provide students with a university experience that they enjoy.

My aims for the year:

Mental Health

Throughout the year I will be running mental health campaigns to help try to minimize the stigma around mental health. Working in collaboration with some of the university’s fantastic services that they provide we hope to get more people talking about mental health.

Societies

I want to continue the amazing development of our societies. Through promoting our diverse range of societies that we have I hope to get more students active within these groups.

Getting to all campuses

I will be putting time aside each week to spend time on each campus to be able to reach all of our students and providing a drop in service for students to come and talk to me for a general chat, air concerns or talk through problems.
